MARITA PHILLIPS

Marita has also written a novel of "The Dream Dealer", (for age 9-13 year olds) Available on Amazon.  She has written the Book and Lyrics for the children's operatina, BUZZ - the story of Glorybee.  Marita has written lyrics for artists such as Art Garfunkel, William Lovelady, Demis Roussos, Maria Friedman and  Peter Skellern. She has written the libretto for the opera “Pushkin”,  with composer Konstantin Boyarsky, based on the lives of Alexander Pushkin and Nicholas I.  Marita Phillips studied acting at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and ballet at the Nesta Brooking School before training as a mime with Adam Darius, with whom she founded and ran The Mime Centre, London.

HARRIET PETHERICK BUSHMAN - music director, pianist, pianist, composer

Harriet Petherick Bushman was trained as a concert pianist at the Royal Academy of Music in London and in Europe.  After several years as a soloist and chamber musician she began to compose work to include in her programmes.  She has composed for BBC and Channel 4 documentaries as well as cathedral choral and organ work in the UK, Europe and the USA but is currently concentrating on musical theatre: "The Invisible Monkey”; (2003/4),  "Discoveries"; (USA 2004), "1856: Long Walk Home" - a concert opera; (USA 2006), "The Dream Dealer"; (London 2002, Edinburgh Festival 2006),  “The Rhythm Method”; (London 2006), "The Little Prince"; (Kuwait 2007) and "The Dream Dealer"; (Kuwait 2008).  She has written songs and incidental music for inclusion in Shakespeare's; "A Comedy of Errors", "The Taming of the Shrew" and "Othello", (Kuwait 2008/9). With Raphael Bushman, she has written the jazz oratorio, "Gideon." She has written the children's operatina, BUZZ - the story of Glorybee, premiered in Kuwait in May 2011.
